BMW announced today its new BMW Interface for iPod, which will enable seamless integration of the iPod for the newest generation of BMW models (the new BMW 3 Series Sedans and Sports Wagons, the 5, 6, and 7 Series, M5 Sedan and M6 Coupe).
Compatible with all dock connector iPods, the direct-connect unit lets BMW owners incorporate their iPods directly into their car’s sound system, offering access to the entire music library.
It allows drivers to control playback and volume, shuffle / skip songs, and sort music by playlists, artist, album, genre or podcast.
