Clarion EA1251B is an easy to install, easy to use iPodâ„¢ adapter that lets you operate and control your iPod with any 2001 and newer Clarion CeNET receiver (models with a "Z").
When your iPod is docked to the EA1251B the adapter will even charge the internal battery of the iPod, giving you plenty of juice when you reach home, the office, running errands, or anywhere you take your iPod.
2003 and newer Clarion CeNET receivers will also display track, folder, artist, title, and playlist information right on the receiver's display (depending on receiver model).
Plug-in your Apple iPod into your Clarion CeNET receiver and you are ready to play.
Compatible with 3rd and 4th generation iPod models with dock connector, iPod Photo, and the iPod Mini.
2003 and newer Clarion receivers will display iPod song title and artist information (you cannot browse be title or artist, however)
Note: The Clarion EA1251B does not support browsing by artist or song title. All songs are played in the order they were saved on your iPod. Only 5 custom-named playlists are supported ("Clarion2" through "Clarion6").
The EA1251B treats your iPod like a CD changer: "disc 1" plays all your songs in numerical order, while "discs 2-6" play your custom-named playlists.
Just like a CD changer, you will not be able to browse to a specific song. You can select tracks and your Clarion playlists only.
