Harman Kardon updated their Drive + Play and announced Drive + Play 2.
Drive + Play 2's screen provides unique music browsing features, including the ability to create a personal DJ that selects music from the same artist, album or genre of music.
You can also create dynamic channels, which allows you to organize your music library into stations or channels like satellite or terrestrial radio.
Other features include:
- a wireless navigation knob
- screen for full browsing capabilities on your portable music device
- Harman Net (an expandability port)
- iPod support
Harman/Kardon’s new car stereo/iPod is shipping.
Tthe Drive+Play, which sits on the dashboard, has its own screen and controls so your iPod can sit in the glove compartment, center console, under the seat, or under the dashboard.
It connects to your car's audio system via an audio line output and a wired (or wireless) FM transmitter.
It is compatible with all docking iPods, including the nano.
