TransPod FM broadcasts iPod to your car stereo via a digital, drift-free, stereo FM Transmitter. It charges iPod while it is playing, transmits crisp, clear music through your car stereo speakers and mounts iPod using two jointed charger arms - so iPod is right where you can access it while driving, no matter where your cigarette lighter is located.
TransPod FM fits in any car and features an audio/out jack for use with a cassette adapter or auxiliary plug (cassette adapter and auxiliary plug sold separately). Two charger arms and a dash mount option included in the kit give you the flexibility to position iPod anywhere you want it.
Here's how it works:
- Slide your iPod down into the cradle.
- Connect the modular auto charger arm to the back of the unit, plug it into your standard 12v cigarette lighter and you are mounted, powered and ready to roll.
- Dial an unused frequency on your car stereo's FM dial (nothing but static), then dial the TransPod FM's built-in FM Transmitter to match that frequency.
- FM transmitter operates from 88MHz to 108MHz, giving you the the full FM spectrum to choose from!
