We found this great install, The In-Dash iPod, on the PowerPage website and wanted to share it with our readers.
Geert Matton wanted to integrate his iPod into my car and do it in a way and be able to use the full potential of the iPod without a bunch of messy cables. He also didn't want his iPod to be tucked away in the glove compartment.
His solution? To use the his cupholder as an iPod dock that you can slide in and out. That way, the iPod is within reach to so you can have all possibilities that the iPod provides.
With the iPod tray completely slided out, there are the two cables, one for the audio, one for the power. He can still unplug the iPod dock and take it out.
The result? A clean, fun iPod car installation that works great!
