UK's Gear4 announced Cruise Control, an RF remote control RF remote control for all iPods with a 50 meter range.
The CruiseControl’s receiver works with any iPod with a dock connector port, has a headphone amp and port on the bottom, and provides a range of up to 160 feet.

The modsters over at MAKE posted a cool story about John Huber and his custom iPod remote control.
John took a Griffin Airclick and hacked it by adding custom buttons and mounted it to his 1999 Jetta's steering wheel on a carbon fiber plate.
