Volvo announced the arrival of the Volvo iPod Adapter, the perfect way to connect an iPod to the audio system of your Volvo. Simply plug the iPod into a cable located in the armrest compartment. Then the car’s audio system controls take over.

Use the audio system to:

• Control volume
• Change to next or previous track
• Fast-forward through tracks
• Quickly change tracks
• Handle 9 different play lists
• Play songs randomly
• Play songs alphabetically
• Steering wheel controls can be used to change tracks and adjust volume

• The Volvo iPod Adapter charges your iPod whenever it’s connected and the car is running.No need to worry about running down your iPod’s battery
• The Volvo iPod Adapter comes complete with a wiring harness and cable, and can easily be installed by your service shop. (Installation time is approximately one hour. If the pre-wiring is not available, installation time increases to 1.7 hours.)
• The iPod Adapter plug mounts conveniently in the armrest compartment.
• Simply open the armrest lid to access the iPod connector, plug it in, turn it on, and close the armrest.
• Select the "10 CD Changer" mode, from the radio’s Source button, and you are ready to go.

Volvo iPod Adapter is available for S60, V70, XC70, and S80 models 2001 and newer.
