Maxxcount announced the Denison Gateway 500, an iPod adapter for the Audi A6, A8, Q7 with the MMi system.

Using this system the iPod can be controlled via the original car radio or the steering wheel remote control, and charges the iPod while connected.

Features:

• iPod control via the original car radio or the steering wheel remote control
• Charging function for the Apple iPod
• USB host connection for several USB mass storages, e.g. USB sticks and USB card readers (supported formats: mp3, WMA, AAC, OGG)
• AUX line-in via 3.5mm to RCA
• Video line-out (for rear seat entertainment system)
• Additional line-in for future enhancement options

The GATEWAY 500 is compatible with all Audi A6 (Type 4F), A8 (Type D2) and Q7 with MMi.

The adapter will work with the iPod nano (first and second generation), iPod 4th generation, iPod photo, iPod 5th generation (video), 30-80GB.
